frequently asked questions

Sometimes you just want it spelled out. Hopefully we've done that with our nifty list of answers to frequent questions, but if not email us and we'll get right back with you.

How do you pronounce fidipidi?

(fi-dip-i-dee)

Am I making an actual card that will be mailed through the actual United States Postal Service, with a stamp and all?

Yes. Fidipidi is modern technology meets old school that way. You can design a card or browse our card catalog online to find one that's just right. Once you purchase your cards we print and mail them directly to the lucky recipient via the United States Post Office. We don't mail internationally, yet.

Tell me about the quality of a fidipidi card?

They're fantastic. Anyone with a penchant for style and design would be honored to receive one. They are 5" x 7" with a gloss finish on a nice little card stock weight of 100# which means they're not coaster-heavy, but could reasonably cool you off on a hot day (if you need a good fanning). Also, they come in our signature fidipidi envelope, which is cool.

What photo formats does fidipidi support?

JPEG, BMP, PNG. Tiff files will be converted for you as they're uploaded.

What are the minimum requirements to upload a photo?

To maintain the quality of your card, we recommend a width between 400 and 4064 pixels and a height between 420 and 2704 pixels. Basically, 300 dpi (dots per inch) is optimal.

What is the maximum size a photo can be?

4MB per photo.

Can you check your (in progress) order status?

Always. Your previous orders and orders in progress are saved in your account. You are sent confirmation emails when your order is received and when it ships.

When does my order ship?

We make every effort to print and ship your card or cards within 24 hours of order placement. Once we drop it in the mail, it typically takes 2-3 days.

Can I cancel my order?

We get to work on your order pretty quickly, so if you'd like to request a "cancel order", please send an email to customersupport@fidipidi.com and we will try and accommodate your request if your order has not yet been processed.
